CPE - Canine Performance Events

Overview:
CPE is a fairly new agility organization, characterized by having several unique games classes. In addition to a regular agility class, they offer six games classes. The games classes are classified according to skills needed as "fun", "handler", and "strategy" games. All titles require a combination of legs from all four categories.

Dogs Eligible:Any, 15 months or older.
Classes offered:Regular (standard agility), Colors and Wildcard (Handlers Games), Jackpot, Snooker (Strategy games), Full House, Jumpers (Fun games). There are six levels of competition.
Jump Heights: 4", 8",12",16",20",24".
Divisions: Regular, Veterans, Junior Handler, Enthusiast and Specialist. There are no separate titles for veterans (dogs over 7 yrs old) , they jump 4" lower but compete for placements with dogs in their regular height class. Certain breeds may run as veterans after age 4. Enthusiasts and Specialists jump 4 inches lower, get additional time and have fewer point requirements for certain games.
Levels: CPE has 6 levels of competition, 1-5 and C. Newcomers to CPE may opt to start in either level 1, 2 or 3. See the CPE website for details.
Titles: Titles at the first 4 levels are CL1-R,CL1-H,CL1-F,CL1-S; CL2-R, etc. The letter after the dash stands for Regular, Strategy, Fun, and Handler. The number of legs required for a title increases at each level.
